In his Apostolic Exhortation Redemptoris Custos (“Guardian of the Redeemer”), Pope Saint John Paul II proclaimed:
Just as he cared with love for Mary and devoted himself with commitment to the education of Jesus Christ, so also he guards and protects His Mystical Body, the Church.
Saint Joseph — chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, earthly father of Jesus, and silent guardian of the Holy Family — stands as the Patron of the Universal Church.
In a world that prizes noise and speed, he remains the perfect model of humility, purity, obedience, and complete trust in God’s providence.
As a humble carpenter, he protected the Son of God, provided for Him through honest labor, and taught Him through the quiet strength of daily life. Today, he continues to watch over the Church and every family with the same tender, fatherly care.
The centerpiece features a beautiful medal of Saint Joseph. On the reverse side, it bears the inscription in Portuguese:
“São José não falha” — which translates to “Saint Joseph never fails.”
Pearl-clear acrylic beads, 6 mm, light in the hand.
Rosary-like (no clasp).
Rosenkrans med St. Josef.
